Under the UCITS IV directive starting from the 1st July 2011, fund managers will have to start producing a KIID for each of their funds and share classes, in all official languages of the EU countries the fund will be distributed into.

All new UCITS launched after 1st July 2011 must produce this report, whereas existing funds launched before this date have until the 30th June 2012 to start producing the KIID.
