FundApps celebrates B Corp recertification with a 17.6% score increase and announces a webinar on the SEC's new Form PF and its implications for global reporting.

We’ve officially been recertified as a B Corp

As a proud B Corp since 2018, we’re committed to continually improving our standing as a business that operates for good. It’s a core tenant of who we are, and something we factor into decisions that guide FundApps. So this past year, when we engaged in the B Corp recertification process and Impact Report creation, it was an opportunity to reflect on changes we’ve made and map our B Corp evolution.

As much as we were looking for improvement and progression, we recognise that recertification isn’t about chasing scores. But the numbers help show how far we’ve come. Our new score is 106.2, a 17.6% increase from our 2021 result of 90.3. It’s a far cry from the median score for an ordinary business of 50.9.

The Impact Assessment helped us pinpoint areas for improvement and fine-tune our policies and processes. It also helped us measure our progress across five core areas: Governance, Workers, Environment, Community, and Customers.

The process was a labor of love, involving multiple teams for data collection, thoughtful discussions, meticulous documentation, and strict verification of every answer and data point. It was a deep dive into how we operate and a clear reaffirmation of the standards that we hold ourselves to at FundApps.

This recertification represents a milestone for FundApps as a business, but also serves as a reminder of our commitment to building a business that serves as a force for good. We’re here to leave an impact in ways that go beyond the bottom line.

The FundApps Webinar Series Returns

The SEC’s revamped Form PF ushers in a bold shift to real-time, event-driven reporting. By requiring large hedge fund advisers to disclose major events within 72 hours, the burden for investment managers increases everywhere. After multiple rounds of revisions and a delayed rollout, firms are racing to redefine key risk terms, tighten compliance processes, and align internal operations teams.

With new data demands and tight deadlines, the pressure is on to get filings right - or deal with the subsequent regulatory scrutiny. Join us to hear how we see firms tackling these challenges and what it means for the future of global reporting.
